What do you think is good about today's music, and what is it missing from music in the past?

I def think music today is missing romance. There is way too much sex and not enough romance, caring, love. Way more than Bump and Grind of the 90s..now it's just blatant.

Thanks Mtm, I totally agree. Back in the day, whether you're talking the 60's or 90's, you could hear a real voice with real instruments. Real words of love and tenderness, and also with a splash of sexiness.

It was alluring and made you feel a certain way everytime you heard the song. Today, it is all electronic and booty slap.

Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday.
